The River Street Market in Michigan

"River Street market is everything to me!!! The sandwiches and pizzas are the best in Elk Rapids because it’s about quality of the ingredients and then preparation of the item ordered. Mike is an amazing chef and his skills at creating great food is unmatched in my opinion. Don’t go anywhere else for pizza or sandwiches as you will just encounter mediocre. There is nothing average about River Street Market. As one reviewer said, it is a hidden gem and I so agree with that comment!!!"

"Wow just wow! I just tried their pizza for the 1st time and I will definitely be back. Mike was super helpful with describing the options and helping me decide. I mentioned I liked butternut squash soup and he recommend I try the Garden Gobbler that has squash, pesto, slices of parm and other good stuff I would never have thought to combine on a pizza. The homemade crust was crispy and delicious. I will be back to try more varieties. Thanks for a great experience and for making thoughtfully delicious food!"

"I live in Denver and have never found a sandwich there as good as River Street. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my entire life. The homemade bread was incredible. I had the gobbler for lunch and wanted another for dinner. Must stop if you’re in the area!"

"Great place. Owner is friendly and accommodating. We stopped in for lunch and got pizza, Italian Sandwich and Italian Wedding Soup. Everything was delicious and made fresh. They definitely use quality ingredients and unique flavor combinations to elevate their offerings."

"This place is awesome! A hidden gem. The food here is amazing. I won a gift certificate from z93 for a free pizza from here. We decided to take a random road trip to Elk Rapids to get pizza for dinner, and in SO GLAD we did! Mike who makes the food is a great guy. The pizza was delicious, they actually have a pretty big menu, and Mike encouraged us to try some of their sandwiches someday. It only took about 10-15 minutes to have a fresh pizza to go. "Our first time eating and visiting The River Street Market and everything from the delicious “Big Mike” pizza and the “The Greek” wrap to the super friendly customer service at checkout! We plan to explore other menu options on our next trips back! If you are visiting or vacationing here make sure to put this spot on the top of your list! "I have been on a 6 year quest for the best pizza in the county and this is it! Don't waste your time looking elsewhere! Mike and Michael are awesome! AND THEY DELIVER! I really HATE limp, drooping pizza crust that falls in my lap which is what everyone else around here is doing. These guys got the BEST pizza dough crust in the state! Pizza by the slice sells out by noon so get in here early or just phone in your order to go/delivered. They got a new recipe for crust, sauce and toppings - and it ROCKS! Supreme is BEST!"
